Marc McCrery is Vice President of Mail Entry and Payment Technology for USPS. He assumed this role in January 2019, and has worked for the Postal Service since 1990.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Vice President of Mail Entry and Payment Technology, McCrery reports to Kristin Seaver, USPS’ current Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Postal Service’s mail preparation, as well as payment support to its commercial customers. McCrery also works to continue transforming the organization’s commercial mailing and shipping channels.
Marc McCrery’s Background
McCreary graduated with a bachelors degree in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He also earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Sloan Fellow. McCrery began his postal career as a professional specialist trainee in 1990 in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as director of Delivery and Retail Technology, and director of Brand Shipping. In addition, McCrery has also served as senior vice president of Strategy and Transition, and has worked in a variety of areas in USPS such as Brand Marketing, New Products and Innovation, as well as Operations Integration and Support.
