International Bridge is a shipping and logistics company offering a product called blue™, a web-based shipping software solution and API for shippers of all sizes to connect to. As a company, International Bridge has been around since the 90’s, and boasts a global network of carriers, airlines, and agents to “deliver flexible and and customized solutions” to their customers. However, they are relative newcomers to the shipping software game.

When we explored blue™, we found that it’s solid option well on its way to compete with the best of the shipping software solutions out there.
blue™ offers integrations with major eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Etsy, BigCommerce, Amazon, eBay, and more. They also claim to offer the deepest discounts across multiple carriers, but from the looks of it, it really depends on what (and where) you’re shipping. When exploring their rate calculator, it only asked us for package weight. When we entered ours, it provided us with standard weight-based services such as USPS Priority Mail and UPS 2nd Day Air. These services were in fact slightly more discounted than retail rates, similar to the Commercial Pricing levels you might find on Stamps.com.
Once a customer signs an NDA with one of their agents, they can receive even deeper discounts on their shipments through blue™. These rates can vary, however, since they are mostly custom rate quotes on a per-customer basis. International Bridge also offers expedited customs clearance for shipments between China and the United States, which is quite useful if you’re a high-volume international shipper.
Users can pay for postage on blue with either a credit card, or through ACH bank account transfers.

Lasership/OnTrac should be called 5 Finger Discount or feeling feisty for a fight! They refuse to leave the package according to the instructions on the label. I literally had to omit my name from the label and replace it with the instructions. She still refused to follow instructions! Delivery drivers are incredibly rude. They know not “Customer Service”. They say delivered when in fact they keep the package. When you call to inquire they give the runaround. I was able to speak to the delivery person to ask her to kindly follow instructions on the label. She tried to fight me! She refused to leave my house when told to three times. She called someone on the phone talking them that I was being mean to her! She was yelling in Spanish. When she is the one that told me flat out that she was NOT going to follow the instructions on the label. She would leave the package outside on the sidewalk. Too lazy to bring it to the door. My husband had to intervene to make her leave. She went to her car then turned around and came back up our driveway for more of a fight! While I was on the phone with 911 she left. Good gosh! Nothing is good about this company. They steal packages and then want to fight you at your house!

I’ve been using blue for almost 2 months now, and I have to say that compared to past solution, I am saving both money (due to truly discounted USPS rates I access via blue, and no subscription fees for use) and time (address gets verified as you type it, connecting my Shopify and Ebay store took literary seconds, updating order info and printing labels via orders page is intuitive and fast…). It’s absolutely seamless!
And, for 3% credit card fee, I am pretty sure it is charged on behalf of their payments processing vendor, so it seems fair to me that we should pay.
