The DYMO LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo is a dual-capacity version of the LabelWriter 450 Turbo, with a maximum output of 71 four-line address labels in each printer per minute.
Overview:
For serious shippers looking to maximize, the LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo is a nice flex. Not only is the design sleek and will look sharp on any desk setup, but setup is also super easy. This printer packs a punch with a maximum output of 71 address labels per minute in each printer (coming out to a total of 142 labels per minute), and is compatible with both Windows and Mac software. So, if you’re sending out large batches of shipments, the Twin Turbo is a solid option.
Our main hangup with the LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo (or any of DYMO’s printers, for that matter) is that you can only use DYMO label paper with them. While other printing companies have built in compatibility for generic label brands, DYMO’s printers do not. Fortunately, you can buy DYMO label rolls on Amazon for around $15, and they should last you quite some time.
With all of this said, if you’re looking to invest in a serious 2×7″ label printer, you may want to explore some other options before committing to buy. For example, the Brother QL-810W is roughly the same price, but it’s much faster than the Twin Turbo, with a maximum output of 110 address labels per minute.
