Luke Grossmann is Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy for USPS. He assumed this role in August of 2019, after spending over a decade working within the United States Postal Service.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Senior Vice President of Finance and Planning, Luke Grossmann reports to Joseph Corbett, the Postal Service’s current Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. Grossman is responsible for leading research, development, and implementation of strategy, financial planning, demand forecasting, and economic analysis for USPS.
Luke Grossmann’s Background
Grossman graduated with a dual bachelors degree in Finance and Economics from American University, with a minor in Statistics. He went on to obtain an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park. Grossmann is also a Sloan Fellow with a Masters of Science in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Grossmann began working with USPS initially as a consultant, and accepted a career position in 2005. Prior to assuming his current role, Grossmann served as Vice President of Finance and Planning, as well as Director of Operations Research for Insight and Continuous Improvement. Before that, he served as manager of Package Platform, manager of Network Development and Support, and district manager for Albany, New York.
