Simon Storey is Vice President of Employee Resource Management for the US Postal Service. He assumed this role in June 2017, and has been with the Postal Service for nearly 30 years.
Duties and Responsibilities
As Vice President of Employee Resource Management, Storey reports to Isaac Cronkhite, USPS’ current Acting Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President. Storey oversees every aspect of the employee life cycle for all of USPS’ workers, from hiring to retirement. As a result, this places him in charge of one the largest human capital systems in the entire country! Storey focuses on areas such as employee Safety and Health, Diversity and Talent Acquisition, Injury Compensation, and more. Overall, Storey and his team are dedicated to improving the USPS employee experience, and ensuring that the organization attracts and retains top employee talent.
Simon Storey’s Background
Storey graduated from Saint Leo University with a bachelors degree in Management. He also studied business administration at Montana State University. Storey began his postal career as a clerk in Billings, Montana, where he supervised mail processing operations. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Human Resources Manager for the Western Area, a massive zone that includes over 105,000 employees across 12 postal districts.
